If you would like to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body andmay be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The container weprovide is constructed of paperboard.

Our charge for this includes:

Two Louisiana Death Certificates

Basic services of the staff, funeral director, and a proportionate share of overhead cost

Transfer of remains to the funeral home (within 50 miles)

The cremation processes & a temporary container to hold cremated remains

Up to 3 days of shelter of remains (thereafter $150 per day will be incurred)

Online obituary on the funeral home website and social media announcement

Terms of direct cremation: Does not include the use of facilities and staff for a private nor public visitation nor ceremony.
