New Iberia, LA- Alberta Bartley August, age 85, entered eternal rest September 26, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Survivors include one daughter, Angel Harris and husband Wendel of Jeanerette, LA; two sons, Jeremy L. August of Lake Charles, LA and Brian E. Riley of New Iberia, LA; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She is proceeded in death by her husband, Saul August; daughter Sherlyn Bartley Claverie; parents, Johnnie and Laura Bartley; sisters, Rosa Stewart, Gertie Mae Anderson, Laura Clark and Patricia Ann Ramagos; brothers, Caleb Bartley, Sr., John Bartley, Jr., Warren Bartley, Charles Bartley, Leroy Bartley, Sr., Ernest Bartley, Earl Bartley.
A memorial service will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, September 30, 2022.
