New Iberia ~A service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 27, 2023, at Greene Funeral Home Chapel for Anthony (A.J.) Joseph Norris "Lydiaboy", 42, who passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, while working in Daphne, AL.

A visitation will take place on Friday, January 27, 2023, from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM and will resume on Saturday, January 28 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM service.

Brother Dalton Isbell from Deridder, LA will officiate at the service.

Anthony (A.J.) Joseph Norris was born September 20, 1980, in New Iberia, LA, and was a resident of Jeanerette. He was employed as a Blaster for All Stream Services & Rental, LLC in Houma, LA. “Work Hard, Play Hard”, was a favorite motto of Anthony’s. He loved fishing, firearms, and adventure. He enjoyed cookouts with his family and friends, and good music was a must.

Anthony is survived by Man’s Best Friend Dakota Norris; parents, Rivas Paul Norris and Shelia Ann Robicheaux; sisters, Brandy Thibodeaux (Johnathan) and Ashley Burkhart (Shawn); children, Kayley Olivier (Colton), Justin Olivier (Kaylie), and Nickolas Olivier; grandchildren, Zane Hickman, Baylynn Hickman, Remington Pierce, Kolston Pierce, Izabella Oliver, and Greyson Olivier; godchildren: Jaszmine Archangel and Isaac Burkhart; nieces, Lisa Burkhart, Alissa Burkhart, Summer Romero, Jadyn Burkhart, Autumn Dahlin, Sarah Burkhart and Sarah Colon; nephews, Caleb Burkhart, Josiah Thibodeaux, Keagan Thibodeaux; great Nephew, Draegan Burkhart; and his special friend, Alaina Fontenot and children Makaila Fontenot, Kaitlyn Fontenot, and Kaleb Fontenot.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Murphy J. Robicheaux and Inez (LaPointe) Robicheaux of New Iberia; maternal grandparents, Harold J. Norris, and Thelma (Benoit) Norris of Lydia; brother: Toby J. Norris also of Lydia.
