Catherine Derouen Obituary

New Iberia- Catherine M. Derouen age 65, passed away on February 5, 2023 at her residence in New Iberia.

Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday February 11, 2023 at Greene Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am till time of service Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 12:00 noon.

She is survived by her mother Felicia Nowell, her daughter Felicia Teaque, sisters Sabrina Duhon and Debbie Myers. Brothers Robin Michael and Donald Perez. One adopted brother Perry Gary. Three Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild. She was preceeded in death by her father Robley “Keke” Perez, four brothers Mike and Jean’ Nowell and Christopher and William “Billie” Perez and one sister Rebecca Perez.

Catherine was an avid League Pool player playing eight ball and nine ball. She was a kind and loving person who was very religious. She loved cooking for others and working in her garden.
