Christopher Romero Obituary

New Iberia, LA- Christopher “Chin-up” James Romero, age 54, entered eternal rest on January 5, 2023, in Lafayette, LA.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023, at 2:00 PM, in Greene Funeral Home Chapel.

Both Chris and his loving brother Erick passed away from Lymphoma twenty-one months apart. The Romero family has requested In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lymphoma Association.

Christopher is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Mallet Romero, Special Someone by his side, Tammy Mayer; two sons, Shannon P. Romero, and Gage M. Romero; one daughter, Courtney (CJ) Landry, and eight grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father, Russell J. Romero; brother Erik John Romero.
