Obituary
New Iberia, LA- Katelyn James Hebert-Bourque, age 30, entered eternal rest on September 2, 2022.
Funeral services will be held at Greene Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday Sept.13, 2022 at 3:00 pm. Visitation will be held from10:00am until time of service. A rosary will be recited by Reverend Edward Degeyter, and the funeral service will be performed by Father Keith Landry. Interment will follow at St John's cemetery in Jeanerette.
Katelyn was a kind soul that was born to help people. Everyone who knew her loved her. She loved spending time with horses and her pets. Her loving dogs are Emma, Blue, Luna, Stubbs and Baby-Do.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald Bourque; one daughter, Gracelynn Hebert; two sisters, Jamie Gonsoulin and Ben of Youngsville, LA and Shanda Hebert and Rob. Mother, Karlyne Lanclos Hebert.
Preceded in death by her father, Carlyle Hebert, Jr; maternal grandparents, James W. Lanclos and Anna Mae Edler Lanclos.
Pallbearers include Drake Segura, Colt Segura, Sean Capak, Aaron Lanclos, Scott Bouillion and Ronald Bourque. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rob Dantin, Catherine Orlander, Meghan Sonnier, Harli Segura, Justin Gautreaux, Jessica Deane, Alexis Champagne and Josh Jones.
The family requests that those who would care to, please wear purple in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness.
