Nancy (Tabor) Broussard

New Iberia – Nancy Tabor Broussard was born December 13, 1944, in St. Martinville, LA and passed away at Calcutta House-Hospice of Acadiana in Lafayette on December 24, 2022. 

Nancy was the manager at Louisiana State Optical for over 20 years and was also a retired hairdresser. After retiring she enjoyed cutting her grass and gardening. She had a special talent for sewing, repurposing furniture and upholstery work.

Ms. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Angela Russo of New Iberia; son, Andrew Russo of New Iberia; brother, Henry (Johnny) Tabor of New Iberia; sisters, Lillian Tabor Thibodeaux (Richard) of New Iberia, Joanna Tabor Gary of New Iberia; grandson, Cullen T. Russo of Lafayette; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Noah Tabor Sr., and Marie Bourque Tabor; son, Anthony (Tony) Russo, Jr.; granddaughter, Alli Lee Bernard; Brothers, Noah (Jimmy) Tabor Jr., Howard Tabor, Leo Tabor; sister, Mary Tabor Buteaux; and her beloved dog Cashew.

A private ceremony will be held at a later date.

You always meant so very much

and always will do too

The fact that you're no longer here
