Phyllis Ann (Trahan) Estelle

New Iberia, LA- Phyllis Trahan Estelle, age 66, entered eternal rest on October 13, 2022, at Iberia Medical Center.

The family has requested visitation be held Wednesday, October 19, 2022, from 10:30am until 4:00pm. The Men’s Rosary Group will be reciting a rosary at 11:00am.

Phyllis in her spare time loved knitting, sewing, and crocheting. While spending time with family they would enjoy cooking, playing cards and bingo.

Survivors include two daughters, Terri Trahan of Arnaudville, and Brandi Blanchard of Broussard; one son, Jeremy Trahan of New Iberia; one sister, Linda Racca of Scott; two brothers, Harry Trahan and wife Bobby of Texas, Clifton Trahan, Jr. and wife Becky of Youngsville; two granddaughters, Jasmine Thibeaux of St. Martinville and Kelli Blanchard of Broussard; one grandson, Nicholas Guidroz, Jr. of Arnaudville and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Tommy Estelle; parents, Clifton and Honorine Trahan, Sr.; one brother, Robert Hebert; one sister-n-law, Evelyn Hebert; one brother-n-law, Ronald Racca; godchild, Jimmy Estelle, Jr.

The Family would like to give special thanks to the faculty and staff of New Iberia Manor North Nursing Home and Iberia Medical Center for the love and caregiving to Phyllis while she was under there care. A double thanks to her niece Lisa Estelle for the extra love and care. Donations may be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
