Roy "Doug" E. Johnson, Jr.

Roy E. Johnson, Jr was born in Houston Texas to his parents Roy E. Sr. & Vera Shreeves (Johnson) on Oct.12,1967. He entered his eternal home at the age of 55 on Aug. 27,2023 in Alexandria, La.

Roy spent several years as an HVAC technician. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, watching football and NASCAR racing, but most of all he loved spending his free time with his grandsons. Roy had a heart of gold and a personality that brought light to every room. He will be greatly missed and is deeply loved by those that knew him well.

Those left to cherish his memories are sisters, Kimberly Johnson (Blair) of Deville, La., and Regina Warren of Alexandria, La; lifelong friend Lisa Clifton of Deville, La.; three sons Justin, Colby, and Dylan Johnson all of Texas; two grandsons Brylon W. & Owen R. Johnson of Texas, & several extended family members.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents Roy E. Johnson, Sr., and Vera Shreeves (Ray); sister Angela F. Johnson; nephew Todd S. Johnson & many beloved family members.

His life will be celebrated by graveside service at Calvary Baptist Church in Boyce, La. on October 21,2023, at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Michael Luty.
