Susette Theresa Babineaux

Susette Theresa Babineaux was born in Lafayette, LA on March 2, 1959, to Walton Joseph and Madia Jane Babineaux.

She was a member of the “Hit the Road Jack” pool league, and she enjoyed spending much of her time outdoors.  Her favorite hobby was shopping garage sales for furniture.  She enjoyed painting and repurposing her finds.    Susette enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and her grandchildren Kylie Johnson, Ethan Vicknair, Laken Vicknair, Addison Ronsonet, Aubree Nunez and Alaya Ronsonet.

Susette is survived by her adoring daughters Tanya Vicknair (John) of Loreauville and Simone Ronsonet (Seth) of New Iberia; sisters Diane Smith (Marvin), Darlene Delcambre of New Iberia; brothers Bobby Babineaux (Linda) of Texas, Paul Babineaux (Tracy) of Denham Springs,  Darrel Babineaux of Texas; and her brother-in-law Gerald Berthalot of St. Martinville.

Preceding her in death are her parents  Walton Joseph Babineaux and Madia Jane Lasseigne; her brother T-Bob Babineaux; sisters Becky Smith and Cindy  Berthalot; brother-in-law J.D. Smith;  and nephew Billy Case.
