Terry James Badeaux

New Iberia, LA  -    Terry Badeaux, age 77,   passed away peacefully on May 7, 2023, at Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia.  

Terry's wishes were for his immediate family only to gather for a private service to celebrate his life.

Terry retired after many of service with the United States Postal Service as a Postal clerk in New Iberia.

He was an avid outdoorsman as a hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed the time he spent camping and traveling.

Terry was a member of the St. Marcellus Knights of Columbus and the Iberia Rod & Gun Club.

Survivors include his wife Rosabel Romero Badeaux of New Iberia; his godson Scott Anson, who he loved as a son, (Faye) of New Iberia, and his niece Sheila Frost of Atlanta who was like a daughter to him. Terry is also survived by his beloved dog Gypsy Rose, along with several nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Elias “ Schute “ Badeaux and his mother the former Rosie Desormeaux, brother Allen Joseph Badeaux, and sister Janelle Badeaux Breaux.
