Wayne Anthony Maturin

New Iberia – Wayne Anthony Maturin, age 54, entered eternal rest on June 1, 2023.

Wayne was a graduate of New Iberia Senior High School.  Upon graduation he began working in the oil field as a derrick hand.

Wayne is survived by his wife Melissa Maturin, daughters, Kayla Maturin, Taylor Maturin, Skyla Darby, and his son Arturo Darby.

Preceded in death by his parents Glenda Lopez and Alton “Hot Rod” Maturin.

A memorial gathering will be held on Monday June 12, 2023, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm at Greene Funeral Home located at 802 Weldon Street, New Iberia.

Wayne’s favorite color was red. We invite you to join the Maturin family in the celebration of his life by wearing red at his memorial gathering.
