New Iberia ~Wilson Joseph LeBlanc, Jr passed away at Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma, LA on November 19, 2022, at the age of 61 years.
Mr. LeBlanc was happiest when he was at the camp and on the water fishing, crabbing, running juglines or crawfishing and drinking coffee with his family and friends. He was an avid reader of the Guinness Book of World Records. When he wasn’t playing games on his phone or on his computer, he was watching old western movies and wrestling. Wilson enjoyed telling stores and fixing anything that presented a challenge.
Wilson was the proud father of Olivia L. LeBlanc of Lineville, Alabama. He is survived by his sisters; Donna Bonin (Butch) of New Iberia, Mecca LeBlanc Berard (Lennet, Jr) of Catahoula, Yola Lasseigne (Randall) of Henderson; godchild, Heather Orgeron of Baton Rouge, his partner Patty Davis of Bayou Vista, 9 nieces and nephews, 43 great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Wilson Joseph LeBlanc, Sr, and Ila Mae Miller LeBlanc; nieces Ashley Lasseigne and Riley Dauphine; nephew Kyle Bonin.
Relative and friends are invited to attend Wilson’s visitation at Greene Funeral Home on Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
