I want to give a huge Thank You to Miss Pauline at Greene Funeral Home in New Iberia. She jumped threw many hoops over a weekend to make my mother-in-law’s service happen. She met with us at 6:30 p.m. on a Friday night for a service to begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. She found a way to have a casket spray, standing spray, and pedestal arrangement done. All of this in addition to obtaining the necessary permits, escorts, and crematory arrangements.
We also kind of adopted her into our Laotian family and community. She joined us twice at our home for Laos Food and to meet with about 40 family members after the service. Greene Funeral Home gave us a great price that was thousands less than anyone in New Iberia. Also, the Lafayette Sheriff's Dept was AWSOME, what an excellent escort to the Crematory. These guys ROCK.

I would like to thank Pauline Greene for making the process for my sisters arrangements so easy and heartfelt. They offer one of the best prices compared to the other funeral homes in the area. She was there to answer all our questions and concerns from start to finish. She even went above and beyond to mail some personal items to me. I will definitely call her in the future when that unfortunate time comes again.

This is one place I would recommend to any and all. This was the process where some like me are lost but this funeral home made it so easy and less painful ! Death is never easy but I can honestly say they made this part so easy for someone who is ever in need like I was! I didn’t know it could be so easy and smoothly and helped me at my worst part in my life at this time! I want you to know Mrs Pauline is amazing person and easy to talk to and was a saving grace when I neeeded !!

When my nanny died we thought we had no options. After dealing with a larger funeral home, I finally called Greene with little hope left and it felt like they answered my prayers! Pauline and Brady are my two angels at this place! Very friendly, make you feel at home, and explain everything step by step so you’re not alone in this process.

I was in so much confusion after losing my brother, I was clueless as to the procedures in this matter. Meeting with Brady put my mind at ease. Mrs. Pauline and Brady guided me thru this with the utmost respect and concern. They answered every question and informed me of all the necessary procedures. After my brother passed away, I learned he left instructions that he be taken to Greene Funeral Home. I was not familiar with this funeral home, so I was very pleasantly surprised and pleased with the extremely professional service along with the very personal touch they provided. We were gently guided through each step along the way. They never tried to ‘upsell’ and always remained mindful of our budget. My family was extremely happy that we had honored our brother’s wishes.

Greene funeral home was a god send when we had to bury my stepfather. Our budget was not great. Pauline and Brady walked through every step of his funeral, which ways were to do best but also staying close in heart with things that concerned my stepbrother and my mother through every step of the way!
